The Toledo Lighthouse Society is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit with nearly 500 members from throughout the US and Canada.
The major fundraiser is the festival, which is working to fund the over $2.0 million to complete the restoration project. The restoration is in progress with over $1 million of restoration including first and second story windows and shutters, door restoration, brick tucking and a platform for the ramp and dock lift. The first phase of the restoration began in August 2020! Lighthouse ownership was in 2008.
Once the restoration is complete, four 'Keepers' will welcome guests and provide tours of the lighthouse from May through September.
